Theodor Determann to join executive board from 1 January 2019
Aachen, 14 December 2018 – e.GO Mobile AG is showing strong growth and founding subsidiaries and affiliate companies. January 2019 will see the launch of e.GO Capital GmbH. This company will coordinate and participate in RWTH Aachen Campus initiatives and spin-offs aimed at establishing a mobility ecosystem. Current e.GO board members Dr Christian Steinborn and Win Niedlinger will take over the management of e.GO Capital. The e.GO Mobile AG supervisory board has also appointed Theodor Determann as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from 1 January 2019.
Determann will be responsible for the Finance, Purchasing, Legal and IT Departments. For more than ten years, Determann was in charge of commercial operations at Windmöller & Hölscher, first as managing director and finally as a member of the executive board. He previously held a number of management positions in industry. Prof Günther Schuh (CEO) and Dr Stefan Rudolf (CTO) are the other two members of e.GO Mobile AG’s three-person executive board. Dr Christian Steinborn and Win Neidlinger will remain with e.GO Mobile AG as Executive Vice Presidents for Strategic Cooperations and Corporate Finance.
Five experienced executives already joined e.GO Mobile AG in 2018: Dr Klaus Waßenhoven (previously at Daimler AG) as Vice President Industrial Engineering & Production, Bernhard Steinel (previously at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG) as Vice President After Sales, Ernest Debets (previously at PTC) as Vice President Information Technology and Digitalization, Robert Grosch (previously at Hella GmbH & Co. KG) as Vice President Procurement and Oliver Wüller (previously at SIG International Services GmbH) as Vice President Quality. “The experience these leading executives bring will perfectly complement the talent of our High Potentials, because the future needs experience – especially in the rapidly changing mobility sector,” adds Prof Günther Schuh.
e.GO Mobile AG
e.GO Mobile AG was founded in 2015 by Professor Dr. Guenther Schuh as a manufacturer of electric vehicles. On the RWTH Aachen campus, the 300 employees so far benefit not only from the trailblazer StreetScooter, but also from the campus's unique network of research facilities and its 360 technology companies. Agile teams work with a variety of low-cost and customer-focused electric vehicles for short-haul traffic. For serial production, e.GO Mobile AG is going into operation of its new plant in Rothe Erde, Aachen.
