Your main tasks

Purchasing responsibility for all commodity groups of production material
Technical and disciplinary management of the Commodity Buyers and Commodity Managers to be assigned to him/her
Contact person for all internal stakeholders for the responsible commodity groups
Supplier selection, inclusion of new suppliers in the supplier pool and supplier pool maintenance
Holistic negotiation management and responsibility for the conclusion of all commercial conditions and contracts
Development and optimization of the "source-to-contract" and "purchase-to-invoice" processes, also in the context of the establishment of a global purchasing matrix organization
Expansion and design of the interface to "Value Management
Initiation of resourcing and cost saving projects
Close coordination with BoM management with regard to PBoM
Management of international special and sourcing projects
Technical and methodical development of the responsible purchasing organization
Collaboration in the conception and roll-out of a modern purchasing controlling system

Your profile

Successfully completed degree in the field of economics / business administration / industrial engineering or similar
At least 7-10 years of international professional experience in automotive purchasing
Several years of experience in the technical and disciplinary management of employees
High communication skills as well as strong negotiation skills and assertiveness
High performance motivation and ability to work under pressure, willingness to take decisions and assume responsibility
Cross-divisional entrepreneurial thinking, strong quality awareness
Very good MS Office skills and good user knowledge of ERP systems
Business fluent German and very good English skills
Willingness to travel on business
