  • Implementation, further development and maintenance of Power BI
  • Defining the requirements for the SQL database in collaboration with the IT department
  • Extracting information from external and internal databases and making it available in analyses and meaningful reports
  • Responsibility for ensuring data quality
  • Setting up interfaces to IT systems
  • Responsibility for maintaining the SQL database for financial reporting
  • Support for short and long-term integrated budgeting / forecasting
  • Integration and optimisation of interfaces from new and existing systems to the data warehouse
  • Creation of new dashboards, views, cubes together with the specialist departments
  • Answering ad-hoc enquiries

This is what you bring...

  • Completed studies in the field of business informatics or comparable commercial qualification with additional relevant professional experience of at least 3-5 years
  • Power BI knowledge required
  • Experience in ERP systems, SQL databases and consolidation software desirable
  • Ability to query, extract and analyze data from various data sources and present results to various stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy
  • Understanding of business requirements and integration of data into business processes
  • Practice in creating meaningful dashboards and reports
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand data requirements
  • Integrating feedback for continuous improvement
  • Diplomatic consulting and negotiation skills
  • A high degree of independence and ability to work under pressure as well as flexibility and commitment
  • Structured and meticulous working style
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Occasional willingness to travel
