We are very happy that you have decided to purchase the e.wave X. If you are living in Germany, you can configure and order your e.wave X using the following link.

We currently sell the e.wave X only in germany. As soon as we offer the purchase in other countries, we will announce this on our website. Stay tuned.
We currently sell the e.wave X only in germany. If you live in Germany, you can order directly through our configurator or one of our partners. To redeem your reservation for the e.wave X, you can enter your reservation code in the configurator. You can also give your reservation code to our local sales partners to claim your reservation.
Any reservation fee paid will be deducted from the final price. If you live abroad, we will let you know on our website as soon as you can place an order. Stay tuned
Yes, you can place an order for the e.wave X even without a reservation.
You don’t need to do anything else for now. We will keep you informed about the order. When your e.wave X has been completed, you will receive an e-mail from us asking you to make the final payment. Once we have received your payment, we will confirm this by e-mail and inform you about the vehicle documents and the next steps. Your e.wave X will be prepared for delivery. Depending on the delivery location, you can book a handover appointment with us at the factory or our delivery partner will contact you to arrange a handover appointment.
You can configure your e.wave X at any time without placing an order. You will then receive a configuration code that you can use later to call up your configuration again or order it from us on site.
Please note that the options offered or the price may change in the meantime. In this case, when you enter your configuration code, you will see a message informing you that the offer has changed. Therefore, we recommend you to order your e.wave X as soon as possible to secure your desired configuration.

You can enter your reservation code when you place your order in the configurator or with our local sales staff. If you have paid a reservation amount, it will be deducted from your order.
If you live outside germany, please stay tuned. We will contact you as soon as the e.wave X is available in your country.
You can use your reservation code for as many orders as you have reserved vehicles. If you have paid a reservation amount, 50 € will be charged for each vehicle ordered. It is not possible to charge the entire reservation amount for one order.
If you are no longer interested in purchasing all reserved vehicles, please order the number of vehicles you want and ask for a cancellation for the remaining number. Please feel free to send us an e-mail to vertrieb@e-go-mobile.com.
Currently you can only place one vehicle per order. If you want to order more vehicles, please send us a request to vertrieb-grosskunden@e-go-mobile.com.
At the start of the sale, we only offer bank transfer as a payment method. Other options such as leasing will follow shortly.
You can pick up your e.wave X either directly at our factory in Aachen or at one of our delivery partners. In the configurator, you can select your suitable partner from the available partners. You can find an overview of all partners at:
Once you have configured your e.wave X, a delivery period will be displayed in the configurator.
As soon as your ordered e.wave X has been completed, you will receive an e-mail from us with information about the completion and the request for payment.
Once we have received your payment, your delivery date will depend on your chosen delivery location and any registration service you may have booked. You will receive more information in your confirmation email.
The e.wave X is delivered either on site in Aachen or through one of our delivery partners. On the day of delivery, you will receive an introduction to your new e.wave X and you can ask any questions you may have. After you have received your vehicle, the delivery point will send us the handover documents and you will receive a final invoice from us confirming that all steps and payments for the purchase have been completed. With this document you can apply for the environmental bonus.
Payment is due after your e.wave X is completed. As soon as this is the case, we will send you an email with all information about the payment and the further procedure.
Currently, you cannot test drive the e.wave X yet. The first test drives will be possible in the first half of 2023. Please sign up for our newsletter to be informed as soon as we can offer test drives.
Technology and safety
Maintenance of the e.GO Life is carried out by our service partners.
The e.GO service network is constantly expanding and will be extended on a regular basis. You can find a current overview of our service partners in the map at the bottom of the page.
All required information regarding repair & maintenance information can be found in the online workshop portal James. Access is subject to a fee and only available to registered users. As an authorized person according to the BER, please write a message with the subject “Registration Online Workshop Portal James” with your contact details and the desired period of use to ticket@e-go-mobile.com. We will get back to you as soon as possible!

Charging
When charging directly at your home, you can take full advantage of the low cost of your household electricity tariff.
Conveniently, the e.GO Life can be charged at any household socket. We recommend that the power connection be tested by a qualified electrician to ensure that your installation can withstand the continuous load of an electric vehicle.
For charging at public charging stations, the e.GO Life uses the Type 2 plug, which is the standard in Europe. The 5 m long Type 2 charging cable can be included in the standard equipment of your e.GO Life when ordering the vehicle.
To be able to use public charging stations, you usually also need an access medium (e.g. app or RFID card). There are many providers on the market who guarantee such access, such as your local energy supplier.
Wallbox
The e.GO Wallbox home can be installed very easily by your preferred qualified electrician at your preferred location. Installation instructions for the e.GO Wallbox home are included in the delivery.
The maximum charging power of the e.GO Wallbox is 11 kW (three-phase). The on-board charger of the e.GO Life only charges single-phase due to the vehicle architecture. This means a maximum charging power of 3.7 kW.
The e.GO Wallbox home is thus already well equipped for future vehicle generations and electric vehicles with higher charging capacities can already charge at 11 kW.
Yes, you can charge any electric car with a Type 2 inlet, which has established itself as a Europe-wide standard, at the e.GO Wallbox home.
The e.GO Wallbox home has protection class IP 54, which means that it is splash-proof and dust-proof. It is recommended to install the wallbox in a garage or under a carport. The e.GO Wallbox home can be operated at temperatures from -25°C to 40°C.
Subsidy programs
Yes. With both the e.GO Life Next and e.GO Life Pure models, you can benefit from the environmental bonus from the German Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA). Both models are listed there under the name e.GO Life 60.
Electromobility is promoted in many different ways and by various entities. However, these vary greatly by provider and your geographic location. We do not have a complete overview of all funding programs. For North Rhine-Westphalia, however, the Fördernavi linked here offers a comprehensive overview of various programs:
e.GO Connect
The e.GO Connect app can be found and downloaded from both the Apple AppStore and the Google PlayStore. You can find it under the name “e.GO connect”.
The e.GO Connect App as well as all currently integrated functions in the app are free of charge.
You can download the e.GO Connect app from the Apple AppStore and the Google PlayStore now. Please note, however, that at the launch of the app, customer vehicles will first be activated in stages. To ensure that the unlocking process is fair for all e.GO Life drivers, the vehicles will be randomly selected for each new stage.
As long as your e.GO Life has not been unlocked, a connection error will be displayed in the app when you try to link your Life. Once your e.GO Life has been unlocked, you will receive an email informing you that you can now link your e.GO Life to the app.
At the launch of the e.GO Connect app, customer vehicles will first be activated in stages. More vehicles will be added and unlocked gradually.
There is no provision for unlocking on demand. Once your e.GO Life has been unlocked, you will receive an email informing you that you can now link your e.GO Life to the app.
With the e.GO Connect app, you have access to the most important vehicle data of your e.GO Life anytime and anywhere, as well as access to other useful functions such as the vehicle finder, the partner search or the e.GO newsfeed.

After you have downloaded and installed the app, you need to register and create an e.GO account. Simply enter your email address and a password.
You will then receive an email from us with a registration code. To complete your registration, you only need to enter this code in the e.GO Connect app.
After confirming your account, you can log in to the app with your login information and add personal data.
After you have created your account, simply enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) and the current kilometers of the vehicle in the app. Your e.GO Life will then be displayed.
The vehicle identification number (VIN) can be found in the vehicle registration document (registration certificate part II) in field E as well as in the door frame on the passenger side on the B-pillar. It is a 17-digit string consisting of capital letters and numbers. It must be entered in the app exactly as specified, i.e. with capital letters, in order to connect the vehicle.
Currently, only one vehicle can be connected per account. We are working on the possibility to be able to store more vehicles.
Your e.GO Life can be linked to any number of accounts. For example, everyone in your family can download the app to their personal smartphone, create an account, and connect to the shared Life.
Alternatively, you can share your account with members of your family.
No. Once your e.GO Life is connected to your account, all you need to do is log in to the e.GO Connect app with your credentials on your new smartphone, for example, to continue using the app seamlessly.
The VIN must have been unlocked by e.GO in advance for the vehicle to be able to connect to the app. At the launch of the app, customer vehicles will first be activated in stages. More vehicles will be added and unlocked gradually. To make this fair, the vehicles will be randomly selected. Once your e.GO Life has been unlocked, you will receive an email informing you that you can now link your e.GO Life to the app.
If you have already received this email and still have connection problems, please contact our customer service. They can check your case together with our developers.
The vehicle sends an update to the app once a minute. The status of the door locking system is mainly used to check later whether you have locked your e.GO Life correctly. All other functions of the app are also updated once a minute, so that, for example, the location of the vehicle can sometimes be updated abruptly.
The e.GO Life only sends data when it is active and connected via cellular. If your e.GO Life is not used for a longer period of time, it switches to sleep mode and terminates the data connection to save power. This is indicated in the app with a “sleep icon”. During the charging process, however, the data connection remains permanently active so that you can view the charging status at any time during charging.
The function is currently still in the test phase and the calculation of the values will improve greatly in the short term.
The calculation of the data in the app takes place independently of the data displayed in the vehicle, which is why they may differ slightly.
You can cancel the connection to the vehicle in the profile under the menu item “My vehicle”.
I bought my e.GO Life used. How can I delete the account of the previous owner so that he no longer has access to my vehicle data?
It is currently not possible to book an appointment for the battery swapping of the e.GO Life via the e.GO Connect App. However, you can find the service partners available for battery swapping as well as their contact details in the app. Please contact the desired service partner in advance by phone to make an appointment for battery replacement.
If you use the battery exchange service, you will always see current information about your battery in the app, such as the location or the latest possible exchange date.
THG-Quote
Greenhouse gas emissions are to be reduced in German transport. To achieve this, the German government introduced the statutory greenhouse gas reduction quota (GHG quota). Producers or sellers of diesel and gasoline are obliged to reduce the CO2 emissions of their fossil fuels by a certain percentage. In 2022, the reduction quota is 6% and continues to increase each year. In 2030 it will already be 22%.
No. With the greenhouse gas reduction quota, the German government wants to ensure a redistribution of financial resources from mineral oil companies to renewable energies in transport. By investing in renewable energies, mineral oil companies are to drive forward the expansion. By selling emission certificates, the proceeds can also be used for various energy justice projects.
To simplify the process for customers, e.GO has developed a quick and uncomplicated solution together with its partner fairnergy. We collect the applications from electric car drivers via our platform and pass them on to fairnergy. Our partner fairnergy bundles the applications and handles the quota trading with the Federal Environment Agency as well as with interested companies.
From now on, you can easily make your right to the emission certificate available to our partner fairnergy via our website. The proceeds from the sale of the certificates will either be credited to you or you can use them directly via the platform to support selected sustainable projects and thus actively shape the future.
